CRITICAL FIRST USE SETUP VIA BLUETOOTH APP：

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The charger is factory set to the lowest voltage for its model range. For optimal performance, you MUST configure the charger to match your specific battery type (LiFePO4 or Li-ion) and voltage the first time you use it.

APP Configuration Steps:

  1. Download & Install: Search and install the "DALY BMS" application from your mobile App Store.
  2. Power On: Connect the charger’s AC plug to a power outlet (AC power connection is required to activate the Bluetooth module).
  3. Connect: Open the App and select "Charging ball".
  4. Identify Device: Click on the corresponding charger in the list. The default name format is typically "YC-1251XXXXXXX".
  5. Access Settings: Once connected, click the "setting" button in the bottom right corner. Enter the default password "654321" to enter the settings page.
  6. Set Curve: Locate the third column, "Charging curve", click the "set up" button, and select the appropriate battery pack type from the drop-down menu. To apply the change, unplug and replug the AC power plug to restart the charger.

   

SAFETY WARNING:

Please only adjust the charger's output voltage and current if you fully understand the charging principles of both your battery pack and the charger. Otherwise, only use the "Charging curve" option to select your battery type. Our charger's default algorithm will provide the best charging effect for your battery.

Note on Changes:

Every time you modify a setting, you must unplug and replug the AC power plug to restart the charger and successfully apply the changes.

Intelligent Overheat Derating: Not only a fan, when internal sensors detect the inner temperatures exceeding safe limits, >150°F (65°C), the system automatically reduces the amperage output to reduce heat generation while maintaining a continuous charge, and automatically shut down when the inner temperatures reach a abnormal high temperature of 168°F (75°C). This ensures your battery gets charged even in hot environments without interruption.
  7. Lab test: In a 131°F (55°C) ambient environment, the intelligent power derating mechanism activates when the internal temperature reaches 149°F (65°C). Combined with the built-in cooling fan, the system stabilizes internally at 149°F (65°C), ensuring continuous operation without shutting down.
